Ok so I wanted to know more about the distributions that were based on Ubuntu and the Wikipedia list is pretty long.
Wikipedia breaks the Ubuntu based Linux distributions into three categories:

If you’ve never taken a look the list is pretty long with 10 official distributions listed, 2 contributed distributions, and 52 Third party distributions.
The full list makes me want to go find out a little more about each of these.
I think it’s pretty cool to see all these Ubuntu-based distributions and all the areas Ubuntu touches the world. Admittedly I haven’t look at all the distributions listed but I can’t wait to read more about them all.
